Jeffrey Hernandez is the Senior Manager, Grants and Reserve Budget for the Office of the President. He has worked with the Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice program for 20+ years managing the grants for multiple areas of work, including Advancing Racial Justice, Immigration Reform, Civil and Criminal Justice/Mass Incarceration Reform, Reproductive, Sexuality and Women’s Rights, and more.

Jeff has worked in different capacities at the foundation since 1997. He previously worked in the Office of the Secretary’s Grants Compliance unit before transitioning to Grants Management. Jeff is recognized for his expertise as a partner with the program officers and grantees working on the frontlines of the most pressing social justice issues of our time.

Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in film/video production and media communications from Hunter College. Jeff is a native New Yorker and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and three children.
