Joy Ehinor-Esezobor is a program manager at the foundation’s West Africa office. Her work focuses on furthering effective grantmaking processes, implementing policies, and practices that align with the Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice and Natural Resources and Climate Change programs. Previously, she has worked in youth education-to-employment transition, sexuality and reproductive health and rights, and women’s political participation.
Joy has extensive technical expertise in grants management, grantee capacity-building, organizational development, project management, strategic communication, and business continuity. Before joining the foundation, she was a program officer of a nonprofit that advocates for the rights of vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
Joy holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Calabar and certificates in nonprofit leadership from Pan Atlantic University and strategic project management from Harvard University.
